Responsibilities:
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and human factors analyses to inform the design and development of medical devices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and regulatory affairs, to integrate human factors considerations throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Generate and maintain usability engineering documentation, including use specifications, task analyses, and usability test plans.
- Participate in the development and execution of usability test protocols, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Analyse and interpret usability test results, providing actionable recommendations to improve product design and user experience.
- Stay informed about industry trends, human factors standards, and regulatory requirements related to medical devices.
- Minimum of two years of experience in a Usability Human Factors Engineer role within the medical devices industry.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Medical Engineering, Human Factors Engineering, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of human factors engineering principles, usability testing methodologies, and relevant standards.
- Proficiency in tools and software used for human factors research and analysis.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
