Job Title: Shift Supervisor

This international company provides automation technology and software solutions for logistics and production facilities. If you would like to be part of this organisation, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Shift Supervisor. Experience with working in distribution warehouse and industrial surroundings is advantageous.

This is a senior role within an Engineering environment; Therefore you must have proven experience with leadership and be able to continue to drive the work force to perform and deliver. You must be able to communicate easily and maintain and build working relationships with colleague’s, customers, and managers. The suitable candidate must hold an IOSH qualification to ensure all H&S standards are met.

Due to the nature of the business this is worked on a Panama shift pattern, including weekends. (Awaiting confirmation for the exact shift pattern)

Key responsibilities:

• Be able to lead, develop and mentor your team in a harmonious manner
• Deliver performance reviews
• Make certain your working environment adheres to both current compliance and H&S standards
• Assist with planning of planned preventative maintenance of automation equipment
• Communicate with on site management, informing of maintenance progress and addressing troubleshooting
• Attend daily meetings
• Organise machine improvements, repairs and modifications and shift patterns
• Assist and arrange project installation work including cost reductions
• Cover the site manager in periods of absences

To be considered:

• An engineering qualification (ONC minimum, ideally HNC or above)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar industry
• IOSH qualification
• Proven experience of managing a team
• Computer Literate including Microsoft Office/CMMS systems
