Production Technician

Location: Aldershot

Salary: £13p/h - £16p/h Negotiable

Job Profile

Joining a collaborative team as a Production Technician, you'll contribute to the production of high-precision components for clients within the aerospace and automotive sectors.

Duties:

• Conduct setup and execute lapping operations on precision parts.
• Provide support across various areas including lapping, polishing, deburring, and component cleaning.
• Perform thorough component cleaning prior to inspection.
• Ensure machines are operated in accordance with guidelines.
• Conduct in-process inspections to ensure adherence to technical specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the work environment.
• Report to Unit Manager promptly regarding any issues or delays.
• Adhere to company's quality management system and health & safety protocols.

Skills & Attributes:

• Experience in engineering or related field preferred.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring equipment.
• Adaptability and quick learning abilities.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Hours of Work:

• 40 hours per week
• Monday to Thursday: 07:00 – 15:45, Friday: 06:00 – 13:00
• Overtime paid at time-and-a-half rate for approved additional hours.
