As an innovative company we deliver high-quality services to our customers in the Energy, Water and Rail industries, We are looking for a full time Finance Analyst to play an integral part in the smooth running of a finance operation in a growing business.
Duties will include
- Analysing current and past financial data
- Providing analytical, forecasting, reporting, and project support to management
- Analysing the current financial performance and identifying trends
- Preparing reports on the above information and communicating the insights of these reports to the wider business
- Consulting with the management team to develop long-term commercial plans
- Suggesting budgets and improvements based on the above information
- Developing financial models and providing financial forecasts
- Developing initiatives and policies that may improve financial growth
- Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data
- Monitoring purchases and purchase orders
- Processing customer sales orders.
- Raising invoices.
- Assisting managers with invoicing requests.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- AAT level 4, ACCA or CIMA qualifications (preferable)
- Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office, and financial software applications
- Attention to detail and the ability to identify data patterns
- Well informed in current financial subjects, accounting and business environments
- Good organisational skills and ability to work to, and provide input to improve processes.
- Excellent time management ability
- Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
- Interpersonal and communication skills:
- Excellent presentation, reporting and communication skills
- Excellent customer (internal and external) service approach.
- Good communication and reasoning skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to respond to unforeseen events and act promptly.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
