UPS Engineer required. My client is an established supplier of UPS systems and Generators to a wide range of customers across the UK. Due to continued growth they are currently looking to recruit an experienced UPS Engineer to cover clients along the M4 corridor. The ideal candidate will come from an Electrical service background, be experienced with Critical Power systems and will be prepared to travel with the role.

You will need a full Driving licence for this position

UPS Engineer Position Overview

• Attend customer sites across the UK (hospitals, data centres, office buildings) to undertake planned maintenance and repair work on UPS systems
• Fault find and repair to module level on analogue/digital power supplies and power quality equipment (DC rectifiers, DC power supplies, battery banks, etc.)
• Provide breakdown and technical support to colleagues and customers alike, over the phone and in person
• Provide professional customer service at all times, displaying company values such as respect, commitment and honesty
• Participate in the call out rota as required

UPS Engineer Position Requirements

• At least 5 years' experience servicing UPS Systems and / or Generators
• City & Guilds 18th edition
• Technically qualified in Electrical / Electronic Engineering
• City and Guilds 2391 / 2394 / 2395 desirable
• ECS Card / EFAW / Asbestos awareness or CCNSG desirable
• Full driving licence
• Prepared to travel with the role

UPS Engineer Position Remuneration

• Salary £35,000 - £40,000 DOE
• OTE Circa £45,000 - £50,000 dependant on overtime
• Door to Door pay, Company Van and Fuel card
• 28 Days holiday inclusive of bank holidays
• £250pw on call retainer
• Company Laptop, Mobile phone and full PPE provided
• Pension
