Your Role

• Surveying & writing clear reports.
• Production of detailed and professional functional design specifications (FDS) to a high quality.
• Bespoke program development, configuration and modification of PLCs, HMIs and SCADA systems.
• Production and delivery of professional Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Customer facing FATs (CFAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) reports.
• Production of Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
• On site installation, testing, fault finding and commissioning.
• Managing project related correspondence, plans, deliverables and documentation.
• Aiding others with delivery of projects, and training.

Essential for Role:

• Experienced in Industrial Automation (Specifically, Allen Bradley PLC ladder logic, FTView HMI), software design and implementation, with a sound knowledge of Process Control techniques.
• Strong commissioning capabilities to ensure projects are delivered safely (site work may involve short periods away from home depending on your location).
• Attention to detail
• Capable problem solver
• Effective communicator to liaise with colleagues and external clients / contractors
• Able to self-manage effectively in order to take on projects and lead them to completion.
• Comfortable working alone and in a team.
• Computer literate / good IT skills.
• Willing and able to train others.
• UK Driving License.

Desirable for Role

• Experience with Control Logix, Compact Logix, Micro Logix, SLC PLC's.
• WonderWare Achestra System Platform & InTouch HMI.
• Industrial Networking
• Iconics
• Experience with instrumentation
• Electrical experience with a knowledge of control panels and MCC's including fault finding, repair and modification.
• Experience with other PLCs & HMIs and SCADA configuration packages
• Able to read / produce electrical drawings.
• Water Industry Experience.
