I'm recruiting on behalf of an international engineering business in Cheltenham who are looking for a Senior Electronics Engineer to join their R&D team. The work involves development of both analogue and digital electronics, firmware in C and PCB design (they use Altium but will consider experience in any package).
This role requires someone who's able to complete the work self-sufficiently with minimal supervision, but also offer some mentoring/coaching to junior engineers.
Whilst hybrid/remote working is available, you will be required on-site at least 1/2 days per week and often at short notice to work on hardware/team meeting etc
ROLE: Senior Electronics Engineer
LOCATION: Cheltenham (hybrid available 2/3 days per week)
SALARY: up to £70k
Essential skills for the Senior Electronics Engineer are:
- Analogue and digital circuit design
- Design for EMC consideration
- PCB design (any package considered)
- Firmware experience (C)
Beneficial skills for the Senior Electronics Engineer are:
- Narrowband RF / BLE / Bluetooth / IoT knowledge
