Astute's Power team is partnering with a leading company within environmental services to recruit a E, C and I Engineer for its Gloucestershire EFW site.

The strategically important E, C and I Engineer role comes with a salary of £52,00 - £55,600, pension, and performance related bonus.

Responsibilities and duties

Reporting to the E,C and I Team Lead you will:

• Being the site expert for electrical assets and C&I systems.
• Hold a position of Senior Authorised Person (SAP) and be qualified to work on both LV and HV electrical systems.
• Leading and supervising a team of EC&I Technicians responsible for pre-planned and reactive maintenance work, including assisting with plant faults and rectifications.
• To manage all plant related computing and communications equipment including networks, DCS, PLC; ensuring correct operation, and modifications recorded.
• Maintain and manage the EC&I budget.
• Co-ordinate and plan maintenance activities including outages and shutdowns
• Providing technical direction to operations and maintenance personnel and identifying areas of improvements
• Managing high value maintenance contracts
• Directing and supervising on site contractors
• Ensuring HSE compliance at all times.

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

• HNC or higher in a relevant qualification. i.e electrical/electronic engineering
• Knowledge and experience within electrical plant including HV.

Experience working within the power generation sector. This can include, EFW, CCGT, Biomass
