Flood Modeller
Sheffield
Salary up to £50k

Due to the expansion plans of an existing team, my client is wanting to recruit a Flood Modeller to join their busy Sheffield office. They have secured a number of new projects and are looking to bring in at least one new team member.

You will have a working knowledge of Flow/Micro Drainage, Flood Modeller Pro, TUFLOW, HEC-RAS or similar 1D-2D hydraulic modelling software and also working experience of hydrological software (primarily WINFAP4, and ReFH2). Working experience of GIS software (QGIS) would also be beneficial in this role.

An understanding of AutoCAD/Autodesk Civil 3D is preferred but not essential, but you will need working experience of FRAs, SuDS and Pre-Planning civils. A working experience of detailed drainage design, and S104 agreements is also preferred but not essential.

You will be at or nearing Chartership with a relevant body commensurate with your academic qualifications (i.e. CIWEM or ICE) and have an awareness of commercial frameworks and ability to contribute to fee proposals.

The company also offers extensive in house training plus mentorship from more Senior colleagues to aid your career development.
