We are currently recruiting for a leading precision engineering company based on the m65 corridor. We have 3 x Manufacturing Engineer positions available from ME to Senior and Principal Manufacturing Engineer within a world class Engineering facility for a market leading company in Accrington. Reporting to Manufacturing management, the successful candidate will drive the delivery of complex components and multiple manufacturing processes, ensuring customer requirements are met. The successful candidate is expected to drive innovation and technological advances by implementing industry knowledge. The role involves collaborating with operations leaders, program management, and customers to enhance engineering capability.

Who This Job Would Suit:
This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a mechanical engineering or related technical qualification, and proven experience within a Manufacturing Engineer position or similar. A strong knowledge/background in machining is much preferred as it will enable you to excel in the role. The candidate should have a strong ability to conceptualise intricate manufacturing solutions and expertise in managing diverse manufacturing processes. Engaging with other department to ensure the smooth flow of communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Successfully deliver or lead technical projects for rate-capable solutions, meeting time, cost, and quality targets.
• Interpret and assess technical requirements from 3D models, engineering drawings, specifications, and instructions.
• Support production solutions and equipment requirements, including the design of capital equipment.
• Develop and enhance current designs, standards, practices, and procedures.
• Investigate causes of non-conformance in line with quality policies and procedures.
• Manage a team of Manufacturing Engineers (Principal Engineer only).

Requirements:

• HND or degree qualified in Mechanical engineering or similar.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes such as multi axis conventional and non-conventional machining, wet treatments, surface modification, bonding, joining, and final assembly.
• Experience within Aerospace/Defence/Automotive or transferable manufacturing sector.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.

Location - Accrington, Lancashire

Salary - Manufacturing Engineer/Senior/Principle - £40k-55k (dependent on experience)
