Job Role: Field Service Engineer

Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire

Salary: £30,000-£35,000 base salary + travel & overtime

Hours: Monday-Friday Days Only

Interaction Technical have partnered with a well-established, local company operating within the Industrial Cleaning Equipment industry on their search for an experience field service engineer to join their growing team. Our client has been established for over 25 years and, due to continued growth, are now looking to add an electromechanical field service engineer to their expanding team. The Role:

· To attend breakdowns, service and installations on an array of industrial cleaning equipment, including PAT testing and additional installs where required.

· Ensure all client data is correct and make updates to jobs in on the company system, including pictures and videos where necessary.

· Follow all workplace procedures correctly at all times, including Health and Safety rules and engineering procedures.

· Provide detailed and accurate reports on every site visit you carry out.

· Maintain van stock levels, obtaining correct parts where required.





The Requirements:

· Previous experience as a field service engineer - preferably working within the Industrial Cleaning Equipment industry (essential)

· Experience working within Plant, Forklift and Automotive industries also acceptable

· Proven ability to fault find, repair and service mechanical and electrical components and machinery (essential)

· Experience in the safe use of standard hand tools, electrical tools, lifting equipment and hot work equipment (essential)

· Relevant qualifications within mechanical and/or electrical engineer (advantageous)

· Previous experience working with industrial batteries and/or engines (advantageous)

· Must be physically fit due to some heavy lifting required

· Full UK Driving Licence
