CNC Machinist

Established production engineering company in Avonmouth are recruiting for a cnc machinist or cnc miller, cnc miller in a small team of machinists on the night shift, reporting to the shift supervisor.

The cnc machinist, cnc miller role will involve the following
cnc machining on the night shift
Setting and operating
Milling, drilling and skimming metal
Working with existing proved out programs
Fanuc or similar controls
Changing tooling and basic settings
Working with raw materials, metal to engineering drawings and dimensions

Knowledge and skills required
·Ideally the cnc machinist, cnc miller will have previous experience in a similar machining role on shifts
·Knowledge of Fanuc or similar controls
·Able to demonstrate transferable skills in an engineering environment and or qualifications or training in cnc operating and machining
·knowledge of the metal industry would be beneficial
