Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Location: Based in Stechford (some travel to Shrewsbury)

Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team and contribute to the smooth operation of our facilities across two sites. Working hours are Mon-Thurs 7-4 & Fri 7-3:30 based in Stechford approximately three times a week and Shrewsbury twice a week. Key Responsibility:

Stechford Base:

• Working with engineers in the workshop facility, stripping and assessing parts sent in for repair (hydraulic cylinders, pumps, etc.).
• Utilizing hand and electric tools, test rigs (training provided), and turning machines (e.g. lathes, millers, drilling machines).
• Performing welding and brazing as needed.

Shrewsbury Site:

• Manufacturing and installation of hose assemblies using electrical swager and cut-off machines.
• Installation of hose assemblies to various engine test cells and industrial machine tools.
• General maintenance of machines, including fault diagnosis (air leak repairs, hydraulic leaks, mechanical installation, and removal of machine tool parts).

Successful Candidate will have:

Essential

• 2 years’ experience in the manufacture of hose assemblies with formal qualifications.
• 5 years’ experience working on industrial machinery in all sectors of manufacturing.
• Qualification in hydraulics and/or pneumatics.
• Full UK Driving License.

Desirable

• Welding skills preferred; training could be provided.
• Machining (turning) skills preferred; training could be provided.
