Location - Site Based working between sites in Wembley, Elephant & Castle, Shoreditch

We currently have a superb opportunity for an experienced and Mechanical bias Facilities Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) for our client who is a leading building services contractor who specialise in designing and installing mechanical, electrical, and public health systems.

Responsibilities:

• As a Facilities Maintenance Engineer you will carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance for Commercial & Landlords clients: Carrying out Monthly, Quarterly, 6-Monthly, and Annual servicing tasks on Mechanical systems. This includes servicing, Air Dirt Separators, , Dosing Pots, Expansion Vessels Extract Fans, Strainers, Side Stream Filters etc.
• Reactive Works where you will perform remedial works for Mechanical systems, such as, leak fixes, pipework replacements, valve/plant replacements filter cleaning, and investigating heating/hot water issues. These tasks are typically conducted during regular hours.
• Callouts where you will respond to out-of-hours emergencies. This may involve being called to leaks, heating or hot water loss etc. There is a 1-week on, 2-weeks off callout rota, providing support during emergencies.

Qualifications:

• NVQ level 2 plumbing and heating (or equivalent) preferred.
• Proven experience in Mechanical maintenance, ideally in a commercial setting.
• Relevant qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or similar field.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Holiday - 24 days per annum. (Excl Bank Holidays)
