MOBILE FABRIC TECHNCIAN

The Basics

• Location: Dover, Kent
• Salary: c32,000 to £34,000 Per Annum + C/O + Overtime (Salary Negotiable)
• Job Purpose: Carry out Planned and Reactive Maintenance Duties & Minor Works for Building Fabric; Painting, Carpentry, Decorating, Repairs etc
• Client: One of UK’s longest serving M&E/Building Services Contractors, specialising in Heritage Works and Listed Buildings/Sensitive Building Projects
• Start Date: ASAP

Mobile Fabric Technician Duties & Responsibilities

• You will be working as part of a small maintenance team, based down in Dover, Kent as well as occasional site visits in Deal.
• Working on a Heritage site
• Planned Preventative Maintenance as well as Repairs and Reactive works to all building Fabric
• PPM’s and repairs including basic Carpentry, Painting/Decorating, Fixing Leaks, Blockages, Tap Temps, General Wear & Tear repairs, Doors, Windows etc
• Responding to more reactive calls and utilising your fault-finding skills to carry out any repairs required
• Client facing: Providing clients with Technical Advice where required and offering solutions to problems
• Adhering to H&S Guidelines

Mobile Fabric Technician Skills & Experience

• Ideally Qualified in a trade such as Carpentry & Joinery or Painting & Decorating etc
• Health & Safety Training
• IPAF or PASMA beneficial
• Full UK Drivers Licence
