Principal/Associate Electrical Engineer

My client is a well established building services consultancy with offices across the UK. They have a really strong group of engineers with a positive attitude though out the team stemming from the top down! They are currently looking for a Principal/Associate Electrical Engineer to join their team in Glasgow.

Our client is working on a wide variety of projects including commercial, high end residential, hotels, healthcare and Ministry of Justice schemes.

You will be responsible for electrical design, engineering, documentation, administration and compliance with project constraints undertaken for MEP, leading projects through the stages, meeting with clients, architects, contractors etc.

Requirements:

Degree in Electrical Engineering/Electrical Services Engineering or Building Services Engineering.

Minimum of 6 years' experience in electrical design engineering

Strong understanding of electrical systems from a design and construction perspective.

Capable of working as part of a team and on own initiative.

Strong knowledge of the current British electrical standards.

Knowledge of key engineering software packages such as Dialux or Relux, Amtech and Navisworks is desirable but not essential.
