My client is an esteemed and independent planning and environmental consultancy, with a prestigious presence across England, Ireland, and Scotland. They are seeking someone to spearhead   a new office/ region in the vibrant city of Bristol.

As a prospective Technical Director, one will be expected to exhibit a wealth of knowledge and experience, with upwards of seven years post-graduate planning expertise, ideally honed within a consultancy environment. RTPI or IEAMA accreditation is a testament to the high standards required for this role.

The responsibilities entrusted to the Technical Director are both challenging and rewarding. Managing and delivering Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs), Planning Statements, and Development Consent Orders (DCOs) will be at the core of the role. The successful candidate will also engage with stakeholders, seamlessly coordinate with in-house consultants, manage subcontractors, and oversee the meticulous submission of planning applications.

The ability to juggle multiple projects with finesse and guide multidisciplinary teams towards achieving common goals is essential. This role demands a leader, a strategist, and an innovator.
