An Electrical Engineering Manager is required for a very established, and ambitious global electrical engineering company.

Having enjoyed unprecedented growth over the past few years, it is clear that the market opportunities are vast and diverse. To maintain this growth, they require an Electrical Engineering Manager to lead the electrical team to design solutions for customers quickly and accurately, as well as innovating solutions for new and/or growing markets. The possibilities are endless and they need a visionary manager to take advantage of this.

The role of Engineering Manager with include the following:

• Lead the electrical engineering team to design bespoke solutions in line with customers' requirements.
• Devise innovative product configurations to achieve varying solutions for a range of applications. These new configurations could be brought to market as a new product.
• Engender a productive and collaborative engineering team.
• New product development.
• Arrange training for team to develop skills in support of the business objectives and individual development.
• Use in-house electrical Design Software coupled with industry standard software such as Eplan and AutoCAD. Prior experience in the company's own software is not expected and full training will be provided.

The suitable candidate for this position of Electrical Engineering Manager will need to possess the following skills and experience.

• Current/Previous experience of leading an electrical engineer team or working as a senior electrical engineer ready to take on a team management role.
• Experience with controls systems, control panels, electrical components, industrial automation, HVAC, building services, or other similar or related industries is essential.
• Enthusiastic about product development/innovation and leading a team to achieve a shared goal.
• Experience with electrical engineering is essential however the software you have used is not, as training in Eplan, AutoCAD and the in-house software can be provided.
• Technical qualification in Electrical Engineering or Control System Engineering is desirable, but not essential.
