Are you a Mechanical CAD/Design Engineer from a Fabrication background looking for a local, stable role for a long-standing manufacturer, where you will play an integral part in the future success of the business?

On offer is a fantastic opportunity to join a close-knit design office where you will have the responsibility to manage projects from cradle to grave.

In this office-based role you will be using AutoCAD and Inventor to design steel structures from scratch. Alongside this you will be dealing with customers, reviewing the fabrication in the factory, and ordering materials, giving you plenty of free rein to manage your workday.

Established over 30 years ago, this design and manufacturer supply their specialist equipment to some of the largest construction companies in the UK. They pride themselves on their low staff retention making this an excellent place to work for the long-term.

This role would suit a Mechanical CAD/Design Engineer looking to play a key part of a mechanical engineering company.

The Role:

• Design for fabrication of special purpose equipment
• Managing projects from cradle to grave
• Using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor
• Monday to Friday, 7am - 4pm, office based
