Lead Engineer - £40,000  – West Midlands

I am currently looking to speak to Lead Engineers of either an Electrical or Mechanical Bias to work in a Healthcare site in the West Midlands. The need is for an Lead Engineer to come and join a team to  to provide an efficient service of the maintenance and building services within a critical environment. 

Basic salary is £40,000 plus regular on call requirements.

As a Lead Engineer you will be required to work a Mon-Fri 8am to 5pm shift pattern.

Duties are to maintain building services, building fabric and all equipment in a cost effective manner, ensuring compliance.

Working as part of the Engineering team you will be responsible for providing planned and preventative maintenance, as well as reactive maintenance for all equipment, grounds and fabric within the environment.

All applicants must come from a strong maintenance background and have the ability to be a Lead Engineer. 

  • Skills/qualifications we're looking for:

  • You will need to hold an apprenticeship or bachelor’s qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Previous experience working as an engineer in a healthcare setting would be an advantage, although full training will be provided.
  • Extensive knowledge of building services and maintenance of various systems
  • 2 years’ experience in building services management
  • Hold relevant certificates or be willing to undertake specialist training in specific areas.
