Key Responsibilities:

  • Annual Programme Reports: Work collaboratively to produce comprehensive annual programme reports, utilizing your expertise in data analysis to provide valuable insights into student achievement and performance indicators.

  • Student Engagement: Take an active role in engaging students through module evaluations and surveys, ensuring their voices are heard and their learning experiences are enriched.

  • Scholarly Activity: Share your expertise and scholarly contributions both within the field of mechanical engineering and across broader pedagogical realms, enriching the academic discourse and fostering intellectual growth.

  • Community Engagement: Build meaningful relationships within the local community to contribute to the development of higher education initiatives, creating opportunities for collaboration and impact.

Qualifications:

  • A postgraduate qualification (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

  • Previous experience in higher education teaching and curriculum development is desirable.

  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Lets Teach Programme  
Let’s Teach The LET’s teach programme supports new members of teaching staff in terms of college systems and key teaching and learning areas including new staff lesson visits and postcard peeps. Each new member of staff has an allocated Lead Practitioner who works closely with them throughout the programme.  

Let’s Bloom
The LET’s Bloom Programme aims to connect our experienced and qualified teachers to share best practice and support continued risk-taking as we continue to add depth to our teaching craft. Teachers volunteer on this one year programme, working closely with the Learning Enhancement Team, capturing their experimentation in a journal.
