Salary £45000 to £55000 DOE

I am currently looking for a Mechanical Supervisor to supervise and manage the operational resources in order to ensure that assigned project's are completed safely, on time and to the required quality while maximising customers' satisfaction.

This role is working for a Large M+E contractor heavily invested in various utilities works including Water/wastewater, Highways, Rail and more. This particular role is working in the water sector and can see you having the opporutnity to develop and progress within your career with a leading name in the UK. Offering a very competative salary with a package to match.

The Mechanical Supervisor Role:

  • Supervise Sub-Contractors, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
  • Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure work is completed efficiently and according to quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical problems within the sewage treatment plant.
  • Monitor and perform routine maintenance and repairs on Mechanical equipment.
  • Engaging with the Supply Chain and support the contractor delivery and commissioning process.

Requirements for the Mechanical Supervisor:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role within the water or another utility sector.
  • Experience managing subcontractors and direct labour in a multi-trade environment.
  • Mechanically qualified with SSSTS or SMSTS.
  • Full UK Drivers licence
