Job Title: CNC Operator/Machinist

Salary: £13.39 per hour

Hours: 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Role Overview:
As a CNC Operator/ Machinist, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, operating CNC machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications. You will work closely with their engineering and production teams to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and timely delivery of products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines to produce components to tight tolerances.
• Interpret engineering drawings and program CNC machines accordingly.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications using precision measuring tools.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Strong knowledge of CNC programming and machining techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
