Smart Solutions are working with an established client within the electronic manufacturing sector who are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to plan, lead and control ongoing engineering processes and activities, while ensuring a full understanding of risks and priorities, and to oversee all activities to ensure they are carried out effectively.

Duties for the Engineering Manager:

• Manage, drive and implement Product Production and Test requirements.

• Provide technical assistance on product and production queries.

• Monitor processes and product design with a view to improve efficiency & sustainability within to increase productivity and reduce waste.

• Communicate technical information to non-technical stake-holders.

• Collaborate with other departments when required to ensure engineering requirements are met in line with the production schedule.

Requirements for the Engineering Manager:

• Extensive previous experience in production environment.

• Ability to Identify production critical processes and critical success factors.

• Ability to co-ordinate with other departments in order to facilitate issue resolution and participate in cross functional team projects.

Benefits of the Role:

• An attractive starting salary of £36,500 to £40,000 DOE

• 39 hour working week. Day shift only.
