Role: Senior Project Development Manager

Location: France – Hauts-de-France or Grand Est (Remote working available)

Technology – Onshore Wind & Solar PV – Dual Development

Salary: €60-90K + Bonus (15-30%)

My client

As one the largest Independent Renewable Developers in Europe my client already owns and operates over 5GW’s of renewable assets in France, Germany, Italy and Spain, with a secured & early phase development pipeline of over 10GW.

Due to their continued growth they are now looking to recruit a Senior Project Development Manager for dual technology development activity (Solar PV & Wind) through out the French region

Your Duties:

In cooperation with the Technical Planning, Operations, Commercial Asset Management and BU Management departments, you will be responsible for identifying sites and acquiring land for the further development of our valuable wind farm portfolio in France. Your tasks include, in particular, conducting negotiations with landowners and farmers, municipal representatives and other project participants (e.g. authorities, notaries, citizens' initiatives, nature conservation associations, etc.).

Your duties will further include:

• Development and maintenance of a network of business partners
• Representation of the company vis-à-vis project participants and organisation of information events
• Development and negotiation of attractive participation and incentive models
• Assumption of selected GF mandates

Requirements

You have successfully completed a degree (technical college or university) in environmental sciences or energy technology or a degree in business administration or have comparable German or French qualifications.

Your relevant and demonstrably successful professional experience in the development and acquisition of onshore wind projects in France, ideally in land acquisition, complete your profile. We appreciate your high degree of personal responsibility and initiative, your sales affinity as well as your strong communication skills and your pleasure in working with colleagues.

In addition, we are looking forward to the following qualities:

• Flexibility, sociability and negotiating skills
• Class B driving licence
• Willingness to travel on business within and outside France.
