BMS Engineer

Location: Kings Cross

Shift Rota: 7.30am - 2.30pm and 11am - 6pm (Mon-Fri only)

Salary: £55k + plus on call allowance

Potential for hybrid working once probation period has been completed

The Role

As a BMS Engineer you will be responsible for the effective running of the clients BMS systems across 17 operational and administrative sites. You will be responsible for ensuring the BMS in each building is running with optimised performance, identifying faults on BMS and controls systems, whilst implementing energy saving across the porfirio via the BMS system. You will be carrying out works to a consistently high standard of quality and customer satisfaction and complete works 'Right First Time'.

About you

We'd love for you to have substantial experience in the controls industry together as well as familiarity with motor control centres, control panels, wiring diagrams, input/output schedules. You should have experience in using CAFM systems and PDAs to receive work and input data. As well as sound working knowledge and experience with Trend, and Siemens BMS systems.
You should have a thorough understanding of Building management systems, PLCs, electronic controls, and instrumentation including Trend & Siemens systems and associated technical standards. As well as be familiar with communication systems and cabling methods such as Ethernet, fibre, copper, serial interface, and wireless systems.

Qualifications

A HND or equivalent technical qualification in BMS or Electronic Controls & Instrumentation.
Incorporated or Chartered Engineer status or working towards.
The post does not require a valid driving licence.
