Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Integration and Operations Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing and coordinating the interfaces between Design and Safety, ensuring the seamless delivery of work packages within the Dock Facility. You will be responsible for overseeing the development of design packages, maintaining quality standards, and supporting operational requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and coordinate interfaces between Design and Safety, ensuring adherence to project specifications and standards.
  • Oversee the development of design documentation, covering the scope of operations required by the Project Manager, and ensure timely delivery within budget.
  • Coordinate the operational aspects of system designs into an overall facility operational concept, demonstrating functional capability.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders, discipline leads, operators, and users to ensure efficient design solutions.
  • Ensure effective Quality Management Arrangements, compliance with company procedures, and relevant regulations.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation, records, and quality controls for all processes and activities.
  • Provide expert advice to sub-contracted design houses to facilitate the development of designs.
Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Experience in Engineering design and safety practices, preferably within a highly regulated industry.
  • Management experience in project specification, planning, and project management.
  • Submarine maintenance production engineering experience in a dockyard environment.
  • Knowledge of process optimization and human interface management.
  • Experience developing Concept of Operations (CONOPs) / procedure management information.
  • Familiarity with industry codes and standards, legislation, and engineering practices.
  • Proficiency in relevant engineering office computer applications.
  • Security clearance may be required for this role.
Additional Information

This position offers hybrid working options, allowing flexibility between remote work and office-based collaboration.

Due to the nature of this role the successful candidate will require Security clearance. To gain this they will be required to be a Sole UK national,  Hybrid working from home/Assystem Office
