CNC Turner Nights
Our client is a leading engineering company based in Loughton. The successful applicant will be responsible for machining parts on CNC machines using Fanuc controls.
Monday to Thursday nights (10pm - 7:30am)
CNC Turner Duties:
- To be able to programme, set and operate sliding head lathes.
- To have knowledge of speeds and feeds and to select correct tooling to ensure efficiency and quality of components.
- Self-inspection and buddy first offs to ensure components are within drawing specifications.
- To liaise with the senior supervisor and communicate on shift issues.
- To be health and safety aware
CNC Turner Requirements:
- Previous CNC turning experience.
- Must have experience with either Fanuc controls or sliding head machines
- Must have experience setting and operating CNC lathes
- Experience programming CNC machines beneficial
- Must be computer literate and able to communicate at a good level.
- Attention to detail essential.
