Role: Fire and Security Engineer

Salary: £31,000 - £36,000 per annum

Technical Resources is seeking a Fire and Security Engineer in England. This role is vital for maintaining the integrity and functionality of security systems, including access control, CCTV, intruder alarms, and fire alarm systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for attending maintenance calls, carrying out preventative maintenance, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Attend to maintenance calls as directed, aiming to rectify all faults on the first visit where possible.
• Execute a rolling program of preventative maintenance visits and collect/record site configuration information.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of all tasks and services provided.
• Commission small projects as required and ensure audits of quality procedures are conducted.
• Deliver training to customers and colleagues on our systems and services.
• Undertake additional tasks as required to support the team and meet company objectives.

Experience and Certifications Required:

• Proven experience in installing and servicing access control systems, CCTV systems, intruder alarm systems, and ideally, GENT-based fire alarm systems.
• An IT qualification and/or Electrical/Electronic qualification is highly desirable.
• A broad technical IT knowledge, including the installation of various Windows Operating Systems and understanding of networking principles.
• Knowledge of basic electrical principles, such as measuring voltage and current drain.
