We are recruiting for a Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our busy engineering function that services an expanding FMCG company in Derby.
- Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer
- Location: Derby
- Salary: £50,000
- Working Hours: 4 on 4 off (days and nights)
As a Maintenance Engineer your role will involve:
- To carry out daily maintenance within set budgets and across a variety of trades. This will include planned and reactive maintenance, keeping accurate maintenance logs and records
- Carrying out planned preventive maintenance and reactive breakdowns to minimise equipment downtime
- Execute work is carried out to the highest possible standards in a clean and orderly manner across the whole of the site
- Carry out routine repairs as required within the remit of your role or escalate appropriately as required
To be successful in this role the candidate will be:
- Apprentice trained / NVQ Level 3 in electrical engineering
- Worked within a production / manufacturing business previously
- You will have the ability to work under pressure often un-supervised
- Excellent communication skills, verbally and written
- A flexible and proactive approach to work
