Mechanical Engineer

We are working with a leading scientific manufacturing company based in South Cambridge who are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team. This is a full-time permanent position and occasional travel could be required.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Support with the continual product design and development lifecycle.
- Use 3D Solidworks for product design.
- Create prototypes for review and analysis.
- Comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Test and evaluate designs.
- Design and review jigs and fixtures.
- Collaborate with wider teams to assist with system integrations.
The Successful candidate will have:
- Mechanical Engineering Degree BSc / BEng / HND qualification or relevant experience.
- 3 + years engineering experience.
- Experience with 3D Cad, Solidworks, GD&T and PDM.
- Excellent communicational and organisational skills.
- Experience taking idea through to execution.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
