On offer is the opportunity to join a leading metal finishing company, supplying services to clients across various sectors including energy, construction, rail and architectural. Established over 35 years ago, they are a local market leader, offering a fully integrated service according to customer requirement.

You will be responsible for overseeing the plant maintenance schedule, working closely with the Operations Manager to drive continuous improvement and eliminate unplanned downtime. You will lead team meetings and support with training and development, ensuring SOPs and quality standards are adhered to.

The role:

• Ensuring high standards of health and safety
• Optimising PPM schedules to reduce unplanned downtime
• Ensure SOPs and quality standards are adhered to
• Lead and motivate the team with daily meetings
• 6am - 2pm Monday to Thursday, 6am - 12pm Friday

The person:

• Multi-skilled maintenance engineer
• Experience in a heavy plant environment
• Experience supervising a team
