The Role - IT Field Support Engineer, Medical & Surgical Instrumentation

This market-leading optical group now seeks to recruit a technically motivated and customer focused IT Field Support Engineer, responsible for the planned preventative maintenance, service, breakdown and connectivity of leading edge fully networked electronic optical medical systems, with innovative products dedicated to a broad range of medical applications with include optometry, dentistry, radiotherapy, surgical microscopy, digital visualisation, neurosurgery and gynaecology.

This role is home based, and will involve travelling to hospitals, healthcare centres and medical establishments throughout the Glasgow and Central Belt region, ensuring that the highest levels of customer service are maintained at all times.

Your Background - IT Field Support Engineer, Medical & Surgical Instrumentation

Suitable candidates for this exciting role will need to possess a background in the connectivity of electronics based instrumentation, with experience of networking products.

A qualification in IT, networking, electronics, engineering or science is preferred, as well as working on high-value capital equipment.

Full and extensive product training will be provided, so whatever your background in information technology, your application will be considered.
