Come join this boutique consultancy who enjoy a mix of working from home and the office.

They have a vacancy for a structural engineer to join them to work on projects from initial discussions right through to on site completion. As well as design, you will have a practical side to your role in that you will attend site meetings and work closely with architects to produce desired end result for clients.

Major focus is on sustainable engineering - if you are not passionate about this, this is not the role for you. They take responsibility for their impact on the environment and own their designs, and this will be your strength.

You will have worked on buildings structures designs including residential (for individual homes and developments) and commercial schemes. Project values go up to multi-million pounds and they have a healthy, increasing order book.

About you:

• Team player from day 1 - they need someone who wants to be an integral part of their business
• Degree in civil or structural engineering
• Able to attend site and client meetings
• Experience working on Listed buildings
• Experience managing and running projects, including design
• Confident communicator both internally and at external meetings with clients, site staff and architects
• Solid understanding of buildings structures, both existing and new
• Ability to compose reports that present facts, analysis, recommendations and conclusions
• Proficient in Tekla Tedds, Revit would be an advantage
