Want to work on an Energy from waste scheme with a leading UK contractor? One of our clients has secured a large project of this nature local to the Dartford area.

They are a leading MEP contractor that turnover in excess of £250 Million, offering Engineering services nationwide to end users and leading Management contractors. This will be the 5th project in thhis sector they have delivered for this customer. 

They are seeking and Electrically Bias Project Manager to run the scheme from cradle to grave. Being and existing customer who are also the end client they have a good track record in other regions delivering schemes for them so have some good knoweldge in the business of the specific kit being installed and the commercials have been well reviewed. 

As Project manager you will be responsible for: 

• Overall management and coordination of the Electrical and Mechanical packages
• Management on Pre Construction and Engineering duties including procurement of plant, labour and materials
• Programmming of works 
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on Electrical Engineering issues 
• Management of the mechanical Engineer and Site management team delivering the works 
• Ensure compliance with all relevant H&S standards and regulations
• Chair site meetings and liason with the client and consultants on progress
• Overall commercial responsibility for the project. 

The ideal candidate will have: 

• Experience managing a major project of this nature (Complex industrial / Construction or Waste to energy sector)
• Hold and HNC / D in Electrical Engineering or a trade qualification with proven experience in managing projects form cradle to grave
• Good understanding of contractual responsibilities and commercial accumen
• Strong communication and management skills both up stream and down stream
