Job Title: CNC Miller Setter/Operator

Are you a skilled CNC Miller Setter/Operator with a passion for precision engineering and a desire to advance your career to the next level? We're seeking a talented individual to join our client’s team in Leeds, as a CNC Miller Setter/Operator with a long term aim of training up to programmer level. You will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC milling machines with Fanuc controls, working with a variety of materials including exotics such as Inconel, and producing small batch work to tight tolerances.

Responsibilities:

• Training to programme at the machine.
• Setting up and operating CNC milling machines with Fanuc controls.
• Producing high-quality components from a variety of materials, including exotics like Inconel.
• Working on small batch production runs with a focus on precision and quality.
• Monitoring machine performance and making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal results.
• Adhering to safety and quality standards at all times.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a CNC Miller Setter/Operator, with experience working with either Fanuc or Haas controls.
• Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and interpreting technical specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing work of the highest quality.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Willingness to undergo training to advance to the level of CNC Programmer.
