Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Welder/Fabricator at CB Skip Services located in Ipswich. As a Welder/Fabricator, you will be responsible for performing welding and fabrication tasks, such as cutting metal, assembling and welding components, and repairing metal structures. You will also work with a variety of metals and materials to fabricate and create high-quality products.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator or similar role
- Proficiency in various welding techniques, such as MIG, TIG, and ARC welding
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience with cutting and shaping metal using manual or automated tools
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures for welding and fabrication
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good physical dexterity and stamina
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Valid welding certifications are a plus
