Job Title: Software Engineering Team Lead

Location: Bristol

Salary range: £55,000-£70,000 depending on experience.

Our client stands as the sole European organisation with expertise in crafting and manufacturing advanced projectile systems and related systems, catering comprehensively to the present and future requisites of all three branches of the armed forces. They are looking for a Software Engineering Team Lead to lead the development of a product line software solution for their current and next-generation systems.

Security Clearance: UK SC Clearance or eligibility to obtain.

Please note: ***UK citizenship is mandatory to be able to obtain SC clearance***

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of a Product Line software solution for current and next generations of systems.
  • Collaborate with a talented and established team in the Systems Software department.
  • Work on technology at the forefront of European system design.
  • Engage in multiple applications across various projects.
  • Gain involvement in various advanced systems across multiple warfare domains.
  • Provide opportunities for diverse software involvement and growth within the team.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in leading teams and working with stakeholders to deliver quality software using agile and waterfall methods.
  • Experience with C, C++, or Ada & a strong background in scripting.
  • Comfortable with software, hardware, and operating system configuration, including security.
  • Proficient in technical documentation to support processes.
