Job Title: Test Operator

Rate: c£15-16/hr

The Client:

We are working with a cutting-edge automotive technology company, who is developing exciting new technologies. Their engineering team is responsible for developing and supplying situational awareness and navigation platforms. Since their founding they have rapidly expanded and recently gained a significant 8 figure investment from OEMs and Tier 1s.

Their product is supported by a proprietary software backed up by hundreds of patents (issued or pending). As this team of high-profile engineers and scientists continues to grow, they are looking to hire a test operator, on a contract basis.

The Role:

You will be part of a team testing sub-contractor’s assemblies of complex opto-electric and opto-mechanical components

Responsibilities of a Tester with the business include: -

• Laboratory testing on optical components.
• Logging test results.
• Operating standalone instrumentation (under supervision).

Qualifications/Experience:

• Ideally a degree or experience working in a company in a similar field such as Maths or Science.
• Ideally previous experience in a laboratory setting.
