Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear.
Salary / Benefits £22k - £35k + Training + Benefits
Our client is a professional Water Hygiene / Legionella specialist who have a strong presence in the North East. They are now looking to recruit a Water Hygiene Engineer to join their longstanding and dedicated team of engineers. You will be delivering Water Hygiene / Legionella services in line with ACoP L8 / HSG 274 guidelines to various public and private sector clients. Due to the nature of the role and contracts, the successful candidate must be happy to travel extensively in line with client needs. Our client can offer opportunities for career progression, excellent salary, and generous holiday allowance.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Gateshead, Hexham, Consett, Durham, Barnard Castle, Darlington, Stockton on Tees, Middlesbrough, Saltburn-by-the-Sea, Redcar, Hartlepool, Sunderland, South Shields, Tynemouth, Ashington, Morpeth.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Will have experience working for a recognised Water Hygiene / Legionella company, working as an engineer.
" Able to carry out L8 Compliance duties in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Will have excellent customer facing skills.
" Will be flexible and adaptable in line with company / client needs.
The Role:
" Water sampling and temperature monitoring.
" TMV servicing and failsafe testing.
" CWST cleans and disinfections.
" Showerhead cleans and descales.
" Closed system analysis and dosing.
" Cleans and descales of showerheads.
" Working in line with ACoP L8 / HSG 274.
" Updating onsite logbooks upon completion of work.
