Quality Manager | ISO 9001: 2015 | Oxford | £50,000pa plus benefits: 
  

A Quality Manager is urgently required by a manufacturing University of Oxford spin-out who has developed disruptive engineering technology within their industry. This company has already raised significant funding which has resulted in rapid growth and product optimisation with a new site opened locally and branching out into new global markets. They now need a talented Quality Manager to be responsible for the management, coordination and maintenance of the quality systems.

 
The role:
Our client is looking for a Quality Manager who is passionate about Quality Assurance and really wants to take on the overall responsibility of quality for this amazing business. You will plan and manage the internal audit process, ensuring the overall quality performance within the business is upheld across all operations. The team is small, so you will still need to be hands on, but you will get the opportunity to manage one Quality Inspector on a day-to-day basis.  
  

About you:
The Quality Manager will need to possess the following experience or skills:

• Bachelor level degree or equivalent in an engineering, technical, or science-related discipline preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in QMS management.
• Working Knowledge of Safety Management.
• Experienced and qualified internal auditor.
• Excellent knowledge of Excel, Office 365.
• Knowledge and experience of ISO 9001: 2015.
• Curious and open-minded, with a solution focused attitude.
• Excellent team playing capabilities and collaboration, with the ability to create and develop new processes, and the confidence to roll them out within the business.
• Ability to clearly communicate both verbally and through the production of written reports at all levels in the organisation.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to enable effective working relationships to be developed with people in a wide range of roles and levels of responsibility.
• Previous experience within valve manufacturing environment and pressurised equipment would be beneficial but not essential.

  
Our client offers a competitive salary, £50,000pa plus benefits, which includes a company contributory pension, death in service insurance, 25 days annual holiday plus public holidays.
