An engineering company with fantastic facilities and a game changing product are looking for a Material & Tooling Operative to join their business.

We are looking for someone with an education within engineering, someone who is organised and happy to work alternating shifts.

The salary is up to £29k per annum working 6am till 2pm for two weeks and then 2pm to 10pm for the next two weeks. Both shifts are working Monday to Friday.

The main aim of this job is to ensure the CNC Production engineers and operators have everything required at the right time to get manufacturing running smoothly and on time.

Material & Tooling Operative duties:-

  • Check the specifications of materials and deliver to the assigned work centre area
  • Work in the tooling area to set up tools as per set up sheets and deliver to the assigned work centre area
  • Disassemble tools, clean them and put them in their designated area
  • Take ownership of the tooling section, ensure it is kept clean and tidy at all times
  • Manage tooling stock and make purchase requests when needed through the factory operating software
