Import/ Export Manager required for required for a leading technology manufacturer who operate on a global basis. They are market leading in their industry. They offer a fast paced role and a great working environment.
 
As the Import/Export Manager, your primary responsibilities include managing all shipping documentation, including Letters of Credit (LCs) and Export Documentation, ensuring compliance and accuracy. You will also be responsible for training and supporting team members in export procedures to uphold regulatory compliance. Additionally, you will maintain shipping information in the System Information Database and Folder (SID), prepare essential shipping documents (e.g., commercial invoices, EUR1, ATR1, Certificate of Origin) to meet customer requirements.
 
In this role, you will collaborate closely with customers and Freight Forwarders to ensure timely delivery of goods and evaluate and manage Freight Forwarders to optimize service quality and cost-effectiveness. Staying updated on export and shipping regulations (e.g., Incoterms, Custom Clearance) is crucial, as you will provide internal reference for compliance and maintain departmental Business Management System (BMS) flowcharts, procedures, and Quality Control Forms (QCFs). Additionally, you will report departmental KPIs on a monthly basis and oversee export control and compliance, including managing export licenses and maintaining accurate transfer logs.
