Maintenance and Operations Support Technician

Major Recruitment are currently seeking a maintenance and operations support technician for our client based on the outskirts of Huddersfield.
The role of a maintenance and operations technician includes overall control of our machines, equipment, systems performance and engineering ops within the workshop and includes operational and support tasks:
- Equipment and system problem solving
- Equipment production readiness
- Equipment effectiveness and capability
- Engineering Ops
Responsibilities:
- Equipment and system problem solving/Equipment production readiness/Equipment effectiveness and capability
- Programming, fault finding and producing production packs for automatic processing lines in PCB area
- Processing tool and equipment problem solving, including communication with equipment manufacturer support desks
- Equipment, tooling, jig and fixture control, maintenance and servicing
- Calibration control
- Setting control
- Providing cover support to cable cutting to enable the free-flow of production through the cell
- Working with Project Desk Technical Support to achieve effective and efficient equipment performance
- Support cover as required by Support Team Leader
- Engineering Operations
- Cutting support
- Testing support
Qualifications:
Knowledge of mechanical/engineering/electrical engineering preferred
Previous machine operator experience preferred
5 GCSE's including Maths and English preferred
Hours
Standard working hours = 38 hours per week
Nominal working hours 08.30 to 16.26 Monday to Friday, 20 minutes break each day 12.00 to 12.20
