Our client, a leading company in the rail industry, is currently seeking a skilled and experienced S&T SIG 3 Installer to join their team on a temporary basis. As an S&T SIG 3 Installer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the rail network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair signalling and telecommunications equipment
- Follow technical specifications and standards to deliver high-quality work
- Conduct testing and inspections to ensure functionality and safety
- Diagnose and troubleshoot faults or issues that may arise
- Assist with signal box and control center operations
- Keep accurate records of work carried out
Job Requirements:
- Experience in S&T signalling installation (SIG 3)
- Sound knowledge of signalling systems, equipment, and safety regulations
- Strong technical skills and ability to read and interpret technical documentation
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work on a roster cover basis
