Astute's Renewables team is partnering with an engineering consultancy with a 30 year reputation of successful energy infrastructure projects, to recruit a Engineering Consultant for their Stockport site.

Responsibilities and duties
As the Engineering Consultant you will:
- Use your expertise in the planning, design and modification of infrastructure projects.
- Budget manage small and large scale projects.
- Create and facilitate technical contract drafting
- Liaise between both non engineer and engineering teams to ensure task are completed to the highest standards.
- Complete due diligence of behalf of investors & vendors.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
- Chemical or Mechanical Engineering Degree
- Chartered Engineer or working towards
- Previous experience within consultancy
- Renewable, power generation or plant background
- Construction experience
Personal skills
The Engineering Consultant role would suit someone who is:
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal
- Able to communicate with all levels
- Competent user of MS office
