Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer required to join a global compressed air supplier who are part of an award winning, global business.

The Successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance on compressed air systems including gas, hydrogen & nitrogen systems, refrigernt dryers, and other compressed air and downstream products at customer sites across East Anglia. 

The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer will ideally have a field service background with electromechanical products such as compressors, filtration, pneumatics, hydraulics, nitrogen generators, pipework, vacuum pumps, vacuum systems, valves, pumps. motors, or similar rotating equipment. Full product training provided.

Candidates with a strong electrical bias with experience on 3 phase electrics and / or electrical qualifications such as 17th or 18th edition in electrical installations with a willingness to learn would be of huge interest.

Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer Role
To provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance of compressed air equipment at customer sites.
The Compressor Service Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance, provide advice, diagnostics, fault finding of compressed air systems including gas, hydrogen & nitrogen systems, refrigernt dryers,  and other compressed air and downstream products across East Anglia including Ipswich, Norwich, Bury St Edmunds and sorrounding areas.
Maintain, repair and install air compressors, vacuum pumps, blowers & dryers, nitrogen generators and other compressed air and pneumatic equipment.
Installing compressed air/water & nitrogen pipelines into all forms of the manufacturing industry.
Perform emergency breakdown, fault finding and repairs on various compressed air equipment.
Full manufacturing training provided.
Liaise with various engineering departments.

Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer Requirements
Proven diagnostic skills on complicated electrical / mechanical engineering systems. 
Experience as a Field Service Engineer / Service Engineer / Service Technician / Installation Engineer / Compressor Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / M&E Engineer or similar.
The ability in maintaining good professional working relationships with existing and new customers.
Good working knowledge of three phase electrics and controls is advantageous.
Service background in the compressed air industry or strong electromechanical experience in compressors, filtration, pneumatics, hydraulics, nitrogen generators, pipework, vacuum pumps, vacuum systems, valves, pumps. motors, or similar rotating equipment. Full product training provided.

Willingness to travel UK wide and commute to the office near Bury St Edmunds to collect parts.
