This is a great opportunity for a Process Engineer to join the project team, working full-time Monday – Friday! This role is based in Saxmundham, Suffolk.

About the role:

The Process Engineer is responsible for R&D on all new projects and equipment, assisting the Project team with new product processes and improving existing processes. You will also be responsible for design tooling and machine set ups for new projects and train Machine Operators, as well as carrying out validations and new equipment introductions as required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Machine processes and set ups for new projects
  • R&D trials, IQ, OQ and PQ. Production of hand samples through to production setup
  • Maintain accurate records relating to activity
  • Effective and efficient relaying of relevant information to Machine Operators
  • Ensure accurate information is inputted onto work sheet masters
  • Demonstrate good housekeeping
  • Make sure PPE in maintained
  • Support Management and Cell Team Leader
  • Assist manufacturing with operating production machines when required
  • Handling and updating important documents

About you:

The ideal candidate will have a good engineering background with knowledge and understanding of conversion machine processes and equipment. You will have strong attention to detail with the ability to document machine process alterations, an ability to interpret specifications, part drawings and work sheets. You must be an excellent communicator with the ability to run meetings with customers. The preferred candidate will be methodical, professional, friendly, have excellent customer service skills and work well in a team as well as independently.
