Job Description: We are seeking several skilled CNC Programmer/Setter/Operators to join our clients team in Newcastle. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in either milling or turning, and will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC millers or lathes to produce high-quality components according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program at the machines based on engineering drawings and specifications.
• Set up CNC machines, including tooling, fixtures, and workpieces.
• Operate CNC machines to produce components within specified tolerances and quality standards.
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal performance.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes and improve efficiency.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator in a manufacturing environment.
• Any controls systems will be considered as full training will be provided.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software is desirable but not essential.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machine operation and setup.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality orientation.
• Good problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts if required.
