CNC Turner required to join a well-established manufacturing business that provide for a range of industries such as The Automotive, Medical and Defence industries, based in the Stoke On Trent area. It is envisaged that the successful candidate will have CNC Turning experience Setting and operating as a minimum. If you have programming experience as well then this would be very advantageous.

CNC Turner Position Overview

• CNC Turning - Setting and Operating (Programming may be required also if you are able to do so).
• Ensuring health and safety standards are met.
• Reporting to the Team Leader on shift.
• Reducing waste where possible to improve overall efficiency.
• Work effectively as part of a team implementing company policies and procedures.

CNC Turner Position Requirements

• Previous experience within a CNC turning position
• Good knowledge in tool setting and tooling requirements.
• Experience using Fanuc controls essential.
• Proven ability to understand and use hand held measuring equipment such as:
• Ability to read and understand Engineering Drawings and Route Cards.
• Be able to set a standard of cleanliness and maintain it in their working area.

CNC Turner Position Remuneration

• Full time - permanent position
• Salary - £14 - £16 per hour, dependant on experience
• Day shifts
• 28 days' holiday including bank holidays
• Overtime available
• Pension
